In the late 1980’s and well into the 1990’s millions of schoolchildren belonged to one of 12,000 “Just Say No” Clubs. Did you? If so, I bet you watched my musical video: Don’t Say Yes When You Really Mean No!
Although I created "Don’t Say Yes When You Really Mean No!" 30+ years ago, I bet some of its 11 songs are still stuck in your head!
I created these 14 new "back story" videos to tell lots of personal, amazing behind-the-scenes origin stories about the songs and cast members.
In Episode 1, find out how I became involved with “Just Say No!” It all started with a catchy song I wrote that they chose as their national theme song - and I became their “Just Say No!” Music Director!
Episodes 2 through 12 tell interesting, never-before told back-stories of what inspired me to write the 11 songs for the musical. Did you know one of my songs originally was a jingle I wrote for MacDonalds's!
